The perfect thing for your geeky dining room table: Hulk vs Wolverine salt and pepper shakers
They’re definitely way cooler than those duck salt and pepper shakers you got from your parents. And every time you season your food, you can replay one of the most awesome comic book battles ever.

The Weekly Pull List: 05/30/12

populationgo:

Hello and welcome, to the latest edition of the Weekly Pull List!

As usual, I am joined by fellow comics contributors Chris (littleyellowboxes) and Ryley (ryley-stbatman), as we detail five picks from our Pull Lists for the week.

It is looking a fairly slender week in terms of issues hitting the shelves for us, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t some top quality stuff out there, with DC’s highly anticipated Animal Man and Batman Annuals being released.

Curious to see what we picked? Then read on!

Deep in the bowels of a Mega-City maximum security Iso-Block there lies Sector 21 a heavily guarded self-contained airtight vault that houses the four Dark Judges.
The infamous occupant of containment B is about to get a surprise visit from his ex-landlady..

Lovely set of Starscans of the four Dark Judges-Fire,Fear,Mortis and of course,Death!
Artwork from one of 2000AD’s unsung heroes,Garry Leach, inextricably linked for me,with Judge Anderson(see 2000AD graphic albums&Meg227Jan’05)and his ability to draw women well!
Primarily known as an inker,Leach is a great artist in his own right as evidenced in a series of one-off Dredd’s(“Attack of the 50ft Woman”,”The Comeback”,”Ten Years Later”).
These pin-ups were printed originally on the back cover of Progs555-558(Jan’88)and it perhaps would’ve been interesting to see Leach take on interior art duties on Death and the Dark Judges..
